Abstract
Hypergravity has been shown to affect the human body, especially the heart and kidney. On positive acceleration, circulating blood volume to the heart is decreased because some blood is accumulated on the peripheral
organs. Atrial natriuretic
peptide is
a peptide hormone that is synthesized and stored in atrial myocytes and released, when blood volume on the atrium is increased. Plsma renin activity is increased, when renal blood flow is decreased by positive acceleration. ANP has inverese
relationship
with renin, which has sodium and water retention. The experiment was designed to investigate possible ANP decrease and reverse relationship with PRA after exposure to 6G for 30 secs positive acceleratory force as imposed on human by the Human
Centrifuge.
As results, positive radial acceleration has made decreasing of plasma ANP in statistically with increasing PRA.
